In case you haven’t heard about it yet, Samsung is finally rolling out the Samsung Wi-Fi app on its latest Android phones.
The Wifi update comes with a few new features, including the ability to share your home Wi-fi network with your friends and family.
But if you’re using an older Android device, you’ll need to update your app to work with the new Samsung app.
You can download the new app from the Google Play store and sideload it to your phone or tablet.
We’ve already covered how to install the new Wifi on your Samsung device, but now we’re going to show you how to update the Samsung app on your Android phone or laptop.
This step is also a prerequisite to upgrade the Samsung cloud app on any other Android device you have installed on.
Launch the Samsung Android app by tapping the cog icon in the bottom right corner of the Android launcher.
Select ‘Applications’, and then select ‘Settings’.
Tap ‘Software updates’.
Select ‘Security and privacy’.
Tap the ‘Manage apps’ button.
On the ‘Apps’ page, tap ‘Software update’ to update Samsung’s Android app.
The app should install and start automatically.
If it doesn’t, check the ‘Settings’ section of the app to find out why.
Once the update is complete, you can uninstall the app by going to the GooglePlay Store and tapping the ‘Uninstall’ button on the ‘Update’ page.
After the update, you should be able to access your home network from your phone’s Wi-Path.
You’ll need the Samsung Cloud app on both your phone and laptop to access that network, and if you don’t have the Samsung App on both devices, you won’t be able connect to your home or work Wi-Web connection.
Now that you have the latest version of Samsung’s mobile web app, it’s time to check it out.
