Nintendo has finally launched the first-ever web-based game store, with Amazon now offering its online services on Switch consoles.
The Switch game store was launched yesterday, with Nintendo inviting players to “play as Link” in a video released yesterday.
Link is the hero of the first Zelda game, released in 2002.
The new store will feature a number of games and apps that can be purchased and downloaded, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Bros. for Switch.
The Nintendo Switch was announced at this year’s E3 conference.
The console has sold over 4.6 million units globally, according to NPD Group.
The company said it was also announcing the availability of the new “Nintendo Switch Console” bundle, which is priced at $199, and will also include the console and a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controller.
